ISE PEARL COOPERATIVE RULES FOR EXHIBITING AND BIDDING
Items worth \100,000 per lot are accepted for exhibit ( at present,
items with
free-pricing are not accepted )
Commission is 3% of the selling price.
Penalty is \2000 per lot.
No limit about the number of the lots. Exhibitors must use the Cooperative
Item
Tags to provide information about their items.
The Cooperative does not guarantee the contents or quality written
on the exhibit
list or the item tag. Please make sure that your items, list and tags
are accurate
before exhibiting.
If no item on exhibit gets a bid, the Cooperative will return every
item after
computing the penalty for each item.
If an exhibitor not present during the auction wants an item to be
returned by the
Cooperative, the exhibitor must deposit \2000 per lot to the office.
Items will be
returned a day after the auction.
When the exhibitor chooses the Cooperative to return the items, shipping
expenses
shall be borne by the exhibitor.
For items sold, shipping and Insurance expenses are borne by Ise Pearl
Auction.
Accident Insurance must be paid by the exhibitor for items shipped
to the auction.
Once items reach the Ise Pearl Auction office, accident insurance
is paid by the
Cooperative until items are returned.
Cobalting, dying, and other processes which include changing pearl's
original color
must be stated on the Exhibit List.
The word "natural" can not be used to describe the pearl and must
not appear on
the Item Tag.
No entries will be accepted after the deadline for systematic/proper
encoding of all
